[Job - 18270] Mid/Senior QA (Automation) , Brazil

I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for a Mid / Senior QA in Brazil to join our dynamic team for an exciting project with an American company.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and cases for both web and back end components.
• Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate test results and participate in the day-to-day QA activities.
• Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects.
• Ensure the compatibility of our web components across different browsers and devices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of software.
• Application of concepts such as the Test Pyramid.
• Create, review and manage Pull Requests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing ideas and suggestions from a QA perspective.

Requirements for this challenge :

• Experience with Test automation (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Jest) using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman, SoapUI, Bruno).
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal for a Technical and Non-Technical audience.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Experience in planning, controlling, specifying, and executing web-based tests.
• Experience in defining, collecting, measuring, and presenting Quality Metrics for continuous improvement.
• Task management tools (e.g. GitLab, JIRA).
• Experience in documentation to clearly report defects and improvements.
• Knowledge of testing pyramid and types of testing.
• Advanced English level for conversation.

Nice to have :

• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and tools like Storybook.
• Experience with API automation (e.g. JMeter or Rest Assured).
• Familiarity with Web development languages (HTML, SASS / CSS, JavaScript / TypeScript).
• Familiarity with React and Java or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
